snow

Monday was a snow day! I had lots of fun. Yes I am standing and trying to face you in the picture. It is fun to try to crawl through deep, powdery snow. It is challanging!

Over the weekend, we had gotten about 18 inches, so that would make something close to four feet of snow. Then Tuesday we got more snow. Maybe seven inches? Enough that my parents didn't think I could drive all the way home from college, so I stayed with a friend in town. But I got home today (Wednesday) safely, thank God.
On my drive out Tuesday morning, we saw two moose. It looked like a moose mother and a moose child. Appearently they like to walk in a line so that it looks like there is just one.

Well, this is the best snow picture of the house for now (taken today!). See all the snow (and the ladder on the edge and two shovel handles) on the roof? And then there is piled up snow from shoveling the driveway and whatever else was shoveled onto the pile. (If I was farther away, maybe the snow would look a little shorter.)
